The new SANTA FE

Smart technology used wisely.

Simply adding a lot of technology to a car won’t make it safer. Rather, Santa Fe is designed to smartly minimize the dangers in our everyday driving environment to ensure safety. Santa Fe’s got your back.

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA)

PCA warns the driver if a collision risk is detected while reversing. If the risk increases even after the warning, it helps to automatically stop the vehicle.
Highway Driving Assist (HDA)
HDA enables drivers to stay centered in a lane while keeping a set distance and speed from the vehicle ahead when driving on a highway, even in curved sections.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
If there is a risk of collision from the blind-spot when changing lanes or exiting a parallel parking spot, BCA provides a warning and automatically controls the vehicle to help avoid a collision.
Safe Exit Assist (SEA)
SEA provides a warning if a vehicle approaching from the rear side is detected as the occupant opens the door to exit the vehicle. If you attempt to deactivate the child safety lock in such situations, SEA will override you to keep the rear doors closed.
Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)
BVM provides images of the vehicle’s rear blind spot on the cluster, making lane changes safe and easy.

New Body Platform

A new, next-generation platform has been applied to the Santa Fe, maximizing vehicle stability on top of larger interior space. The new platform also brings with it significant improvements in collision safety, thanks to the increased usage of Advanced High-Strength Steel and hot stamping.
